Bluetooth scanning The Bluetooth scanning permissions allows apps to discover and receive Bluetooth data from nearby devices. Bluetooth Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices. Access fine location The "fine location" permission is required to receive Bluetooth Low Energy data. This app will never access your location! But data from known devices (e.g. AirTags), could be used to determine your location, this is why access to Bluetooth data is guarded by a location permission. Background location access Background location access is required to receive Bluetooth data while the app is in the background. This app will never access your location! The permission is called "location" because Bluetooth technology can also be used to determine your location.
